We spent several days in Leavenworth, Washington while we enjoyed the Cascade Loop Scenic Byway and the Cascade mountains. Leavenworth is in the southern foothills of the Cascades. Almost all of the village structures resemble Bavarian architecture. While in the area we were able to zip line, do some general exploring, and did a great hike to Colchuck Lake (see post here) which is part of “The Enchantments” area of the Cascades. The Enchantments is the top hike in Washington and is an area with many beautiful lakes. Zip lining was a lot of fun and it was Avery’s first time. The only bad thing was they made us wear these silly helmets with ears. But, all good fun as the guides had to do it also.
Wow! Looks beautiful and like so much fun!
Glad you didn’t let the funny hats deter you! Ziplining is fun, and it looks like a beautiful day & place for it!
