We visited Crater Lake on our way down the coast after leaving the San Juan Islands in Washington The lake has amazingly blue water. It is close to two thousand feet deep at it’s deepest point and is only filled by melted snow. So the water stays very pure and clear. Pictures can’t begin to show how beautiful the water is.
The color of the water is astonishing! I love the last picture with the sunlight shimmering on the water – so pretty! Of course, my favorite pictures include the people I love! Crater Lake is definitely a place I want to see for myself!
